Dr. Wilson received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology/Chemistry from the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL. He then received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Wilson has always known that he wanted to go into the healthcare field because of his passion for giving back to the community and helping people of all ages reach their health goals. While in undergrad, Dr. Wilson worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for over 6 years until he realized that Chiropractic was his calling. When not in the office, you can most likely find him spending time with his wife Amber and their 2 dogs (Rowdy and Nugget), watching college football (Roll Tide), or woodworking. Dr. Criss is originally from Erie, PA and moved to the Greater Atlanta area over 20 years ago. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University in the fall of 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
He has practiced in both Florida as a Chiropractic Physician and Georgia as a Chiropractor. While he maintains active license status in both states he currently practices exclusively in the great state of Georgia.
Dr. Criss has served as a team doctor to a local high school football team while practicing in Florida and has traveled abroad to provide gratis care to underprivileged populations in Central America. He has spent his entire life involved in health and fitness. He also has 30 years of knowledge and experience in exercise, nutrition, and bodybuilding that he regularly shares with those who are interested.
In his free time, you can find him with his wife and three kids doing various activities involving fitness and traveling for family events.

The word “Chiropractic” is derived from the Greek words “cheir” (hand) and “praktos” (done) combined to mean “done by hand.” It was chosen by the developer of chiropractic care, Daniel David Palmer. In 1895, D.D. Palmer performed a chiropractic adjustment on a partially deaf janitor, Harvey Lillard, who later reported that his hearing had improved due to the change.
D.D. Palmer opened the first chiropractic school two years later, and in the century since, chiropractic professionals have used spinal adjustments to help people prevent and cope with back pain, carpal tunnel, muscle strain, headaches and migraines, and a variety of other physical ailments. What Kind of Training Does a Chiropractor Have?
Chiropractic doctors go through a minimum of four years of schooling at a chiropractic college, generally preceded by an undergraduate degree in the basic sciences or several years of experience in a prior relevant health care field.
Students of chiropractic care must spend a minimum of at least 4,200 hours with their teacher, and a minimum of 1,000 hours of fully supervised clinical training with an instructor.
They learn the appropriate diagnosis and treatment techniques to help heal your body and restore it to its natural, fully functioning state.
